"Breakfast with the Arts," the Sunday-morning entertainment program on the Arts & Entertainment Network, will offer a dose of Stephen Sondheim April 10.
Excerpts from the concert will also be shown, including the vocals of Harvey Fierstein, David Hyde Pierce, Anne Hathaway, Barbara Cook, Donna Murphy and Dame Edna Everage as well as speaker Cynthia Nixon. Interviews with many of these stars, including their birthday wishes to Sondheim, will be aired as well. (Children and Art celebrated composer Sondheim's 75th birthday and benefited the organization he founded, Young Playwrights Inc.)
The April 10 broadcast will also feature interviews with James Earl Jones and Leslie Uggams, currently on Broadway in the new production of On Golden Pond.
"Breakfast with the Arts" airs from 8-10 AM ET on A&E. Check local listings or visit www.aetv.com for more information.
