At This Performance Concerts to Feature Understudies from Wicked, Brooklyn, Avenue Q and Chitty

At This Performance. . . is the title of two concerts presented by Musicals Tonight! that will feature several Broadway understudies and standbys.

Hosted by casting director Stephen DeAngelis, the concerts will be mounted May 1 and 2 at the 45th Street Theatre. Show time is 8 PM. The first concert will feature musical direction by Danny Purcefull; Eugene Gwozdz will be the musical director of the May 2 evening.

The May 1 concert will feature the talents of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' Joe Cassidy and Laura Marie Duncan; All Shook Up's Paul Castree, Michelle Kittrell and Karen Murphy; The Light in the Piazza's Laura Griffith and Jennifer Hughes; Little Women's Chris Gunn; Hairspray's Andrew Rannels; Good Vibrations' Allison Spratt; Wicked's Marty Thomas; and Brooklyn's Shelley Thomas.

Those scheduled to sing May 2 include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Julie Barnes, William Ryall and Rick Hilsabeck; Avenue Q's Jennifer Barnhart and Howie Michael Smith; The Lion King's John Brady; The Light in the Piazza's David Burnham; Hairspray's Becky Gulsvig and Carla J. Hargrove; Dessa Rose's Kenita R. Miller; Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' Rachelle Rak; and Brooklyn's Sara Schmidt.

The 45th Street Theatre is located in Manhattan at 354 West 45th Street. Tickets, priced at $19 each night, are available by calling (212) 868-4444.
