Brian Cox Stars as Double Husband in The Ride Down Mt. Morgan in Los Angeles

Brian Cox stars in the upcoming The Ride Down Mt. Morgan to play as part of Los Angeles Theatre Works' season, May 11-15.

Part of the radio theater series "The Play’s The Thing," the live performances at the Skirball Cultural Center will be recorded for future radio broadcast.

Richard Masur directs The Ride Down Mt. Morgan, Arthur Miller's drama about a man with everything — wealth, power, success and a loving wife, make that two. The man juggles his double life well until a car accident lands him in the hospital with both wives in the waiting room.

Cox is joined in the cast by Saidah Arrika Ekulona, Gregory Itzin, Jenny O’Hara, Amy Pietz and Kirsten Potter.

Scotsman Cox, known for his film turns in "Adaptation" and "The 25th Hour" has appeared on Broadway in Art and Strange Interlude. He also garnered two Olivier Awards on the London stage in Titus Andronicus and Rat in the Skull.

Upcoming performances in "The Play’s the Thing" series include Nilo Cruz's Anna in the Tropics (June 15-19) and a play to be announced (July 13-17).

L.A.T.W.'s nationally syndicated radio show "The Play's The Thing" series is performed live at the Skirball Cultural Center. All performances are recorded for future broadcast to cities including Boston, Seattle, Santa Fe as well as on XM Satellite radio. The two-hour radio broadcasts include special backstage features and interviews with actors, playwrights, and directors. The L.A.
