Billy Crystal, who won a Tony Award for his one-man show 700 Sundays, said in the Tony Awards press room that he would like to take the production on tour across America and possibly to London.
"I’m fascinated by taking it to the West End and seeing how the family would play over there," he said.
700 Sundays is an autobiographical work about Crystal's childhood. The title refers to the number of Sundays he spent with his father before the latter died. The show has proved a tremendous box office hit on Broadway.
"The best work I've ever done in my life has been 700 Sundays. It's reconnected me with myself and reminded me of what I do best, which is performing in front of people."
He also said that he had no immediate plans to tape the show for television.
