Glengarry Glen Ross Expected to Recoup Investment This Summer

By Robert Simonson
05 Jun 2005

Producer Jeffrey Richards said backstage at the Tony Awards that he expected his revival of David Mamet’s Glengarry Glen Ross to recoup its investment during the summer.

"The show is doing great business," said Richards. "That is our hope."

The production also took home a Tony Award in the Best Featured Actor in a Play category, honoring Liev Schreiber.

The play also stars Alan Alda, Gordon Clapp, Frederick Weller, Jeffrey Tambor and Tom Wopat. It is the first Broadway revival of Mamet’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama.
