Cast Members of "Rent" Film to Be Part of Broadway for Life

Members of the cast of the upcoming film of Rent will take part in the lunchtime series Broadway for Life Aug. 4.

The 12:30 PM event will be held in New York City's Bryant Park and will feature the cast of the film version of "Rent" singing "Seasons of Love" and "Finale B." Bryant Park is located in Manhattan at 42nd Street and Sixth Avenue.

Directed by Christopher Columbus, "Rent" will hit screen across the country on Nov. 11. The Columbia Pictures/Revolution Studios film, with a screenplay by Columbus and Stephen Chbosky, stars Taye Diggs (Benny), Wilson Jermaine Heredia (Angel), Jesse L. Martin (Tom Collins), Idina Menzel (Maureen), Adam Pascal (Roger), Anthony Rapp (Mark), Rosario Dawson (Mimi) and Tracie Thoms (Joanne).
