Chitty's Ryall to Offer Flying Cars and Falling Chandeliers! in August

By Andrew Gans
21 Jul 2005

William Ryall, who is currently featured in the cast of Broadway's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, will go it solo next month at Danny's Skylight Room.

Ryall will offer his new cabaret act, Flying Cars and Falling Chandeliers!, Aug. 8 at 9:15 PM and Aug. 15 at 7 PM. Featuring direction by Tim Herman and musical direction by Steven Silverstein, Flying Cars is, according to press notes, "a hilarious and touching look at one man's route from a small town to the Great White Way." Cabaretgoers can expect to hear original songs by Silverstein, including "I'm a Mommy Too" and "The Path You Choose."

William Ryall has been seen on Broadway in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Seussical, Amadeus, High Society, How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying, The Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public, Grand Hotel and Me and My Girl. He also took part in the all-star Chess concert to benefit the Actors' Fund of America.

Danny's Skylight Room is located in Manhattan at 346 West 46th Street. There is a $15 cover plus a $12 food/drink minimum; call (212) 265-8133 for reservations.
