Gaby Hoffmann will star in the Williamstown Theatre Festival's Nikos Stage offering, The Sugar Syndrome by Lucy Prebble, running July 27-Aug. 7.
Hoffmann plays 17-year-old Dani, who "surfs internet chat rooms searching for someone who is honest and direct. What she finds is a man twice her age who thinks she is an 11-year-old boy." The characters in the play include the Voice of the Internet (played by Felgar) and Voicemail (Wisan).
Williamstown warns that The Sugar Syndrome "contains adult subject matter and is intended for mature audiences."
Hoffmann is primarily known for her precocious teen film career, during which she starred in the Nora Ephron films "Sleepless in Seattle" and "This Is My Life."
Tickets may be purchased by calling (413) 597-3400, or by visiting the box office in person.
