The children cast members – of which there are plenty – of the Broadway musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang devoured cupcakes along with their adult counterparts backstage at the Hilton Theatre on July 23, in celebration of the show’s 100th performance.
The extravagant musical, which features the most expensive prop ever seen on a stage in its flying car, has a London incarnation that is still running in the West End and the Broadway company hopes to match the success of its older sibling overseas.
At left, stars Raul Esparza, Kevin Cahoon and Marc Kudisch managed to swipe some of the sugary sweets before the children, seen below, gobbled all of them up at the post-show celebration.
