On July 25, Lennon cast members Terrence Mann and Mandy Gonzalez stopped by the intersection of 72nd Street and Central Park West in Manhattan to view the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus and to help promote its mission.
The tour bus is described as "a non-profit, mobile recording and multimedia studio outfitted with traditional musical instruments [that serves as] an active legacy of John and his vision." The bus travels around city steets to encourage students to write and appreciate music.
Lennon, a new Broadway musical that tells the story of the legendary musician’s life using his own music, is currently in previews at the Broadhurst Theatre, with an opening night scheduled for Aug. 4.
