Fringe's Half Life to Feature "My Girl" Star Chlumsky

The Robert Moulthrop play, which will run at the Flea Theatre, is about a convict who returns home after serving time for molesting a little girl. He discovers, however, that for people like him, you truly can't go home again.
Absent from acting for a few years, Chlumsky, now a Brooklyn resident, reappeared in 2004 as the wronged Isabella in a new Astoria, Queens, production of Shakespeare's Measure for Measure. The Brooklyn actress read a casting notice for the Astoria Performing Arts Company (APAC) staging of Shakespeare's famed problem play and auditioned for APAC resident director John Hurley.
Chlumsky began her career at 10 months as a model. She later acted in Annie at the Pheasant Run Dinner Theater in Chicago. Following a bit part in "Uncle Buck," she rose to fame as Vada Sultenfuss, playing opposite Macauley Culkin in "My Girl."
