Richard Greenberg may be becoming one of the most widely performed contemporary playwrights in the U.S., but in the U.K. he’s lagging behind. However, a new production of The American Plan will up his London quota.
Although Greenberg has seen another of his plays, Take Me Out, at the Donmar Warehouse, this will be his debut in the commercial West End. David Grindley is down to direct, off the back of a high-profile run of shows that include Kevin Spacey in American Anthems, Journey’s End and What The Butler Saw (set to transfer from the Hampstead Theatre to Theatreland).
