PHOTO CALL: Avenue Q Swings to the Beat of Charity at Benefit Concert

By Morgan Allen
05 Oct 2005

Current cast members from the wildly successful Tony Award winning musical Avenue Q —including original stars Stephanie D'Abruzzo and Ann Harada —were part of a benefit concert for the Jazz Foundation of America and the New Orleans Musicians Clinic on Oct. 3.

The concert portion of the benefit, titled Avenue Q Swings, featured some of the popular moments from the show's score performed in jazz, classical and other unique arrangements.

Below, performers Christian Anderson, Mary Annn Sweeney, Laura Marie Duncan, Christine Pedi, Barrett Foa and Giselle Jackson are seen behind of Harada and D'Abruzzo at Avenue Q Swings, hosted by Birdland, located at 315 West 44th Street in New York City.
