The Monday Nights, New Voices series at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre continues Oct. 10 at 9:30 PM with the music of Tony Award-winning Annie composer Charles Strouse and up-n-coming writer Neil Bartram.

Both composers will be part of the one-night-only event, which is being produced by Scott Alan. Chad Kimball, recently seen on Broadway in the new musical Lennon, will host the evening.

With musical direction by Barbara Anselmi, the concert will feature performances by Thrill Me's Doug Kreeger, Naked Boys Singing!'s Gavin Esham, Lennon's Nicole Lewis, Bombay Dreams' Sriram Ganesan and Mimi Ferraro.

Chad Kimball, who memorably portrayed the cow Milky White in the revival of Into the Woods, also appeared on Broadway in Frank Wildhorn's The Civil War as well as that show's national tour. His other theatrical credits include productions of Baby, Finian's Rainbow, Chess, Godspell, Sweeney Todd, Equus, The Winter's Tale and Three Sisters. The actor-singer is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory.

Charles Strouse won Best Score Tony Awards for Annie (with lyricist Martin Charnin) and Applause (with Lee Adams). His other musicals include Bye Bye Birdie, Applause, "It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Superman!", Bring Back Birdie, Annie Warbucks, Golden Boy, A Broadway Musical, I and Albert, Charlie and Algernon, Rags, Dance a Little Closer and All American.

The Duplex is located in Manhattan at 61 Christopher Street. There is a $12 cover charge and a two-drink minimum; call (212) 255-5438 for reservations. Visit www.theduplex.com for more information.
