Job commitments for Kate Burton and Kerry O'Malley have prompted some casting changes for Melting Pot Theatre Company's benefit reading of the 1951 "Lux Radio Theatre" adaptation of "All About Eve" in Manhattan.

Tovah Feldshuh will play Margo Channing and Jennifer Rae Beck will be Eve Harrington in the Nov. 7 presentation of the radio script that was based on the film written and directed by Joseph L. Mankiewicz.

Also performing at Barrow Street Theatre will be Gregg Edelman as Bill Sampson, Tamara Tunie as Karen, David Odgen Stiers as Lloyd, Jonathan Hadary as Addison Dewitt, Jackie Hoffman as Birdie, Christine Pedi as Libby Collins (Hollywood gossip columnist), Emily Skinner as Ms. Caswell (aspiring star), Adam Heller as John Milton Kennedy (announcer), Patrick Quinn as William Keighley (producer) and Fred Newman providing live sound effects. Greg Carter and Suzann Hevner are the "Harmoneers" (jingle singers), with Vanessa A. Jones as featured singer.

Music direction is by Jono Mainelli.

"Due to unexpected scheduling conflicts with their TV series' filming schedules, previously announced performers Kate Burton and Kerry O'Malley are unable to join us," according to MPTC. "We are, however, delighted and fortunate to have four-time Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh and concert favorite Jennifer Rae Beck joining us, along with terrific new cast members Jonathan Hadary and David Ogden Stiers."

Melting Pot's founding artistic director is Larry Hirschhorn.

The performance will take place at 7:30 PM the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow St. & Seventh Ave. South in the West Village).

The post-show reception will take place at 9 PM at Agave, 140 Seventh Ave. South and West Tenth Street, two blocks away).

Tickets are $600 and $300 each, with rows of 10 available for $6,000 and $3,000. A limited number of show-only tickets are available for $100. A sizable portion of each ticket is a tax-deductible charitable contribution.

Tickets may be purchased directly from MPTC at (212) 874-7210 (phone), (212) 874-6054 (fax), or Sean@MeltingPotTheatre.com.

Last season, MPTC's benefit featured the Lux Radio Theatre adapatation of "It's A Wonderful Life."

Melting Pot Theatre Company "creates, develops, and produces New York premieres of plays and musicals that explore the themes, people, and events that shape the unique American experience." MPTC presents "culturally diverse theatre that is emotionally stirring, thought-provoking, and reflects our country's population."
