By Andrew Gans
18 Nov 2005

Marcia Milgrom Dodge, who directed Alice Ripley in the Kennedy Center's production of Tell Me on a Sunday, helms the world premiere of Knight Life, which begins performances Nov. 18 at Florida's Riverside Theatre.

Subtitled The Girl Who Would Be King, the new musical will officially open Nov. 26 and is set to play through Dec. 11. The musical features book and lyrics by Robert Sternin and Prudence Fraser and music by Jeff Barry. Chris Caswell is the show's musical director.

Song titles include "Middle Aged in the Middle Ages" and "Gratuitous Violence."

The show's creative team also includes Tobin Ost (costume design), Michael Schweikardt (set design), Paul Miller (lighting design), Christopher Walter (sound design), Chris Caswell (musical direction, orchestrations and vocal arrangements) and Rick Sordelet (fight direction).

Marcia Milgrom Dodge directed Radio Gals at the John Houseman Theatre, choreographed Richard Maltby and David Shire's Closer Than Ever at the Cherry Lane and helmed Donald Margulies' The Loman Family Picnic for Manhattan Theatre Club. She was also the associate choreographer for Broadway's High Society and has many regional credits, including both Anything Goes and Dames at Sea for the Riverside.

The Riverside Theatre is located in Vero Beach, FL at 3250 Riverside Park Drive. For tickets call (800) 445-6745 or (772) 231-6990.
