PHOTO CALL: Sen. Clinton Joins Chicago Tour Star Harrison for Special Announcement in Upstate New York

By Morgan Allen
10 Dec 2005

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton was a guest at Proctor’s Theatre – which the touring cast of Chicago is calling home until Dec. 11— in Schenectady, NY on Dec. 6 as she came bearing special news for the storied venue.

Sen. Clinton announced that the theatre was to receive $4 million in historic federal taxes. As New York state’s representative in the Senate, it was Sen. Clinton’s honor to make the announcement.

Below, Sen. Clinton is seen backstage at Proctor’s Theatre with Gregory Harrison, who is currently starring as Billy Flynn in the touring company of the mega-hit Broadway revival of Chicago, which is the first Broadway musical to play on Proctor's newly expanded stage.
