Mylinda Hull, who plays Nickie in the Broadway revival of Sweet Charity, will make her Birdland debut Jan. 2, two days after the Charity production played its final performance.
Hull and Her Lucky Seven band will play the famed jazz club at 7 PM. Part of Birdland's Winter Season, the evening will feature Don Rebic on piano, John Beal on bass, Kory Grossman on drums, Greg Utzig on guitar, Bob Millikan on trumpet, Mark Patterson on trombone and Jimmy Cozier on tenor saxophone. Cabaretgoers can expect to hear such tunes as "Who Will Buy?," "I Can't Give You Anything But Love" and "Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair."
Hull, who was also seen as Anytime Annie in the revival of 42nd Street, penned the arrangements and orchestrations for her cabaret gig with Don York, August Eriksmoen and Ryan Shore.
Birdland is located in Manhattan at 315 West 44th Street. There is a $25 cover and a $10 food-drink minimum; call (212) 581-3080 for reservations.
