Casting Complete for National Tour of Spamalot

Complete casting has been announced for the upcoming tour of Monty Python's Spamalot, which begins performances March 7 at Boston's Colonial Theatre.
Michael Siberry will head the cast as King Arthur. He will be joined by Bradley Dean as Sir Galahad, Tom Deckman as the Historian, Jeff Dumas as Patsy, Pia C. Glenn as the Lady of the Lake, Christopher Gurr as Sir Bedevere, Richard Holmes as Sir Lancelot and David Turner as Sir Robin.
The company for the tour of the Tony-winning musical will also feature Kevin Burrows, Kevin Crewell, Callie Carter, Tim Federle, Robyn Hurder, Naomi Kakuk, Amanda Kloots, Gavin Lodge, Nikki Long, Justin Patterson, Mia Price, Darryl Semira, Christopher Sutton, Esther Stilwell, Paula Wise, Brandi Wooten and Craig Waletzko.
In addition to Boston, the Spamalot tour will also play Chicago; Washington, DC; Pittsburgh; and Atlanta. Other cities will be announced shortly.
Michael Siberry starred in the title role of the Royal Shakespeare Company's tour of The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby. His Broadway credits include The Sound of Music and The Merchant of Venice.
Bradley Dean has been seen on Broadway in Man of La Mancha and Jane Eyre.
Tom Deckman appeared in Good Vibrations and will soon be seen in the PBS telecast of South Pacific, which stars Brian Stokes Mitchell and Reba McEntire.
Jeff Dumas appeared in the Chicago sit-down production of Stephen Schwartz's Wicked.
Pia C. Glenn made her Broadway debut in Stephen Sondheim's The Frogs at Lincoln Center.
Richard Holmes' Broadway credits include the recent production of The Pillowman and the Tony-winning revival of Cabaret.
David Turner was on Broadway earlier this season in In My Life, and he also appeared in The Invention of Love.

Mike Nichols ("The Graduate," "Angels in America") directs the show inspired by the 1975 feature film comedy "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" which landed at Broadway's Shubert Theatre for a St. Valentine's Day (Feb. 14, 2005) start and a St. Patrick's Day (March 17) opening.
The self-proclaimed "lovingly ripped-off" show features a book by Idle based on the screenplay he co-wrote with Monty Python creators Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones and Michael Palin. The new score with music and lyrics by Idle and composer John Du Prez ("A Fish Called Wanda") also includes songs ("Brave Sir Robin" and "Knights of the Round Table") from the original film as well as Python signature "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life."
Spamalot tells the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table on their quest from God (voiced by a familiar actor) for the Holy Grail - with a short stop in the dazzling Spam-filled land of Camelot. The show boasts "a chorus line of dancing divas and knights, flatulent Frenchmen, killer rabbits and one legless knight" who sing and dance. (Python devotees will be happy to know The Knights Who Say "Ni!" also make an appearance.)
The musical earned 14 nominations for the 2005 Tony Awards, winning prizes for Best Musical, Best Direction (Mike Nichols) and Featured Actress (Sara Ramirez).
Todd Ellison is musical director and vocal arranger. Larry Hochman provides orchestrations, Glen Kelly handles music arrangements and Michael Keller is musical coordinator.
The design team for Spamalot features Tim Hatley (set, costume), Hugh Vanstone (lighting), Gregory Meeh (special effects) and ACME Sound Partners (sound).
