John O’Hurley, the former “Seinfeld” star who scored a summer success on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” has extended his run in the Broadway production of Chicago.
O'Hurley, who began playing slick lawyer Billy Flynn Jan. 16, had originally been scheduled to stay with the Tony-winning revival through March 26. The actor will now continue in the Kander and Ebb musical until April 16.
The Chicago company also currently features Michelle DeJean as Roxie Hart, Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Lilias White as Matron Mama Morton, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.
John O'Hurley, who is making his Broadway debut in Chicago, has been seen on screen in "The Mullets," "Buying the Cow," "Teddy Bears' Picnic," "Race to Space," "Firetrap," "Slammed," "Cursed," "Love Stinks," "Three Secrets," "Wild Grizzly," "Tempting Fate," "Blood on Her Hands," "Lost on Earth," "Over the Top," "Murder Live!," "The Secret," "My Son Is Innocent," "The Power Within," "A Whole New Ballgame," "Valley of the Dolls," "General Hospital," "Mirror Images," "Scorch," "Santa Barbara," "The Young and the Restless," "Billy the Kid," "Something Is Out There," "Loving," "The Edge of Night" and "Seinfeld.”
Chicago plays the Ambassador Theatre, located at 215 West 49th Street.
