After a 14-month restoration, Chicago's LaSalle Bank Theatre — formerly the Shubert Theatre — will reopen with a one-night-only concert by Tony Award winner Michael Crawford.

The Chicago-Sun Times reports that Crawford will perform at the Chicago venue May 24 at 7:30 PM. Tickets for the concert will go on sale April 2 by calling (312) 902-1400 or by visiting www.broadwayinchicago.com.

Michael Crawford was most recently on stage in the London production of The Woman in White. He was last on Broadway as Count von Krolock in the short-lived musical Dance of the Vampires. He won Tony and Olivier awards for his work in the title role of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera. He also received an Olivier for his performance in the London production of Barnum, and his screen credits include "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," "How I Won the War" and "Hello, Dolly!" Crawford's solo recordings are numerous and include "Michael Crawford Performs Andrew Lloyd Webber," "A Touch of Music in the Night," "On Eagle's Wings," "Michael Crawford in Concert" and "Songs from the Stage and Screen."

The Times also announced the complete Broadway in Chicago season, which follows.
The Pirate Queen: Oct 3.-Nov. 26 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre
Mamma Mia!: Dec. 12-31 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre
Doubt: Jan. 9-28, 2007 at the LaSalle Bank Theatre
Twelve Angry Men: Jan. 30-Feb. 11 at the LaSalle Bank Theatre
Legends!: Feb. 20-March 4 at the LaSalle Bank Theatre
