Chicago's Goodman Theatre has added the acclaimed drama In the Continuum to its 2006-07 line-up.
The play dramatizes the devastating problem of HIV/AIDS among African and African-American women. The show's co-creators portray numerous characters in two parallel stories — a married Zimbabwean woman and a 19-year-old girl from South Central Los Angeles — in this tale told from a woman's perspective.
Still to be announced in the season that marks Robert Falls' 20th anniversary as Goodman Theatre artistic director are two plays, one directed by Falls.
