Patrick Mellen, who is featured in the ensemble of the new Broadway musical Lestat, will go it solo June 4 and 25 at The Triad.

Mellen's solo show, entitled ringfinger, explores the timely issue of same-sex marriage and also features an array of pop, jazz, rock and Broadway tunes. Cabaretgoers can expect to hear such songs as "Be My Husband," "I Wanna Get Married," "Ringfinger," "Marry Me a Little," "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman" and "Coin-operated Boy." Mellen will be backed by singers Lucy Sorenson and Leannis Maxwell. Show time is 9:15 PM.

ringfinger features direction by DJ Salisbury and musical direction and arrangements by Douglas Maxwell. Additional material was penned by Jimmy Bennett.

Proceeds from ringfinger will benefit Marriage Equality New York, an organization dedicated to marriage equality for same-sex couples in New York state. Visit www.marriageequalityny.org for more information.
