Actors David Strathairn and Steve Buscemi will join the lineup of stars to pay tribute to Spalding Gray in readings of his Leftover Stories To Tell, featuring work that was performed by the late actor and writings discovered recently.

Created and co-directed by Gray's widow Kathleen Russo and Lucy Sexton, the program will play May 31-June 4 at P.S. 122.

The cast of performers include James Urbaniak, Bob Holman, Ain Gordon, Jonathan Ames and Hazelle Goodman with celebrity guests Olympia Dukakis (May 31), Debra Winger and Strathairn (June 1), Buscemi (June 2), Fisher Stevens (June 3) and Joel Grey (June 4).

"When Spalding Gray succumbed to depression and took his life in the winter of 2004, he left behind a loving family, a legion of devoted fans and an enormous body of work," reads a show description. "Leftover Stories to Tell charts a uniquely personal journey through Spalding's inimitable perspective and voice, featuring excerpts from his hilarious monologues juxtaposed with journal entries, poems, and other unpublished - and previously unperformed - writing."

A portion of proceeds from the performances will support The Spalding Gray Award, a commissioning created in his honor by Performance Space 122 and UCLA Live.

Spalding Gray is the Obie Award-winning author of Swimming to Cambodia and Gray's Anatomy. Other works include Morning, Noon and Night, Monster in a Box, Gray's Anatomy and It's a Slippery Slope. He last performed on Broadway in another writer's work — Gore Vidal's The Best Man.

A Spalding Gray Matter, a solo inspired by the monologuist's disappearance and how it coincided with author-performer Michael Brandt's mysterious hospital-bound experience, currently plays for The New Group (naked) through May 27 at Theatre Row's Clurman Theater.
