Aspects' Ann Crumb to Star in Free Reading of New Musical Triangle

By Andrew Gans
31 May 2006

A free reading of the new musical Triangle will be presented by the All Seasons Theatre Company June 19 at the Manhattan Theatre Club Studios.

The 7 PM reading will be directed by Robert W. McMaster and will feature musical direction by David Shenton. Those scheduled to be part of the reading include former Aspects of Love star Ann Crumb as well as Grant Norman, Shonn Wiley, Bridget Barkan, Gilbert Brady, Lisa Clayton and Kenneth Garner.

Triangle was written by Mark Barkan and June Rachelson-Ospa. The musical comedy, according to press notes, concerns "two married shrinks who can't stand each other and their patients who develop triangular relationships in the waiting room. They include a woman who takes the urn of her dead husband everywhere, her dead husband's undertaker, a cross-dresser, a guy who's fresh out of the closet, and a sexy young unmarried woman."

The reading will be followed by a question-and-answer session with the musical's creative team.

The Manhattan Theatre Club Studios are located at 311 West 43rd Street. Although the reading is free, reservations are required by calling (201) 927-1799 or by e-mailing info@allseasonstheatre.org.
