Ali Ewoldt, Andrew Kober, Kara Lindsay, Jose Llana Will Sing Work of Sam Carner and Derek Gregor at The Duplex

A host of theatre performers will interpret the songs of Richard Rodgers Award winners Sam Carner and Derek Gregor Jan. 17 at The Duplex.

The evening will help raise funds for Carner and Gregor's first EP, which is titled "Carner & Gregor’s My First EP!"

Directed by Marlo Hunter, the 8 PM concert will feature the talents of Briana Carlson-Goodman (Hair, Les Miserables), Ali Ewoldt (Les Miserables, West Side Story), Nick Gaswirth (A Christmas Story), Andrew Kober (Hair, Koberet), Kara Lindsay (Newsies, Little House on the Prairie), Jose Llana (Wonderland, Spelling Bee, Flower Drum Song, King and I, Rent), Adam Overett (The Light in the Piazza, Murder for Two) and Sarah Ziegler (The Black Monk).

Guest songwriters will include Joe Kinosian & Kellen Blair (Murder for Two) and Charlie Sohne & Tim Rosser (The Prophet of Creation).

Attendees can expect to hear songs from Carner & Gregor's Unlock'd (NYMF Best of the Fest winner), Island Song and more; the songwriters will record a couple of live tracks at this show to be included on the EP.
