The precise date and theatre have not been announced, but the show's official website, which has recently gone live, says it is "coming" in February, 2016. The site also displayed the logo art for the first time. A March 2016 opening had been announced in an earlier Equity casting notice.
Benjamin Walker, who starred in the title role of Broadway's Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson will play serial killer Patrick Bateman in show, according to an earlier report on Showbiz411.com, which has not been confirmed by the production.

NBC reported that the musical will features many of the hit songs used in the 2000 film version of the novel, including “Hip to Be Square” by Huey Lewis & The News, “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears For Fears and “Don’t You Want Me” by the Human League -- but the rest of the score will be composed by Sheik. Producers David Johnson, Jesse Singer, Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel are targeting the opening around mid-March – regarded as an ideal time for new shows to catch the eyes of the Tony Nominating Committee.
The stage musical was previously announced to premiere Off-Broadway in early 2015 at Second Stage Theatre, but the production was scrapped after producers opted to bring the musical directly to Broadway.
None of the lab cast has been officially announced to repeat their performances on Broadway; however, producers state that the starring role of Patrick Bateman has been cast and that only an understudy is being sought.
The dark pop musical has a book by Aguirre-Sacasa ("Glee," "Looking," Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark, Good Boys and True), with music and lyrics by Grammy and Tony winner Sheik (Spring Awakening). Bret Easton Ellis' 1991 novel was previously adapted for the screen in 2000, starring Christian Bale.
