Tony Award winner Anika Noni Rose and T.R. Knight will appear on the upcoming season of the CBS legal drama "The Good Wife," according to TV Guide.com.
Knight (Noises Off, "Grey's Anatomy") has been announced to play a political operative, while Rose (Caroline, or Change; "Dreamgirls") will return as a prosecutor. Dallas Roberts will also return to the series as the brother of Alicia (played by Julianna Margulies).
In addition to her duties on "The Good Wife," Rose is also appearing as Taye Diggs' sister on "Private Practice" and will guest star on the Nov. 1 episode of "Elementary" on CBS.
The popular legal drama "The Good Wife" airs Sunday nights at 9 PM on CBS.
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
