As previously reported, Olivier and two-time Tony winner Patti LuPone, who recently concluded an acclaimed, extended engagement at the new Manhattan nightspot 54 Below, will headline Playbill's third Broadway on the High Seas cruise, which sets sail Aug. 4, 2013, from Stockholm, Sweden.
LuPone, who will return to Broadway later this season in the world premiere of David Mamet's The Anarchist, will be joined on the upcoming cruise by her Anything Goes co-star, two-time Tony nominee Howard McGillin, who will also be returning to Broadway this season in the new musical Rebecca, as well as actor, musician, Playbill columnist and Sirius/XM host Seth Rudetsky.
The ten-day luxury cruise, a partnership with Regent Seven Seas Cruises, has become a hit with hundreds of theatre-loving travelers since its inaugural voyage in September 2011. The third installment of the popular trip will make stops in Stockholm, Turku, Helsinki (Finland), St. Petersburg (Russia), Tallinn (Estonia), Riga (Latvia), Visby (Sweden) and Berlin (Germany) with the trip ending in Copenhagen (Denmark) on Aug. 14, 2013.
The already sold-out Broadway on the High Seas 2, which will set sail in December 2012 on a voyage to South America, will boast Grammy-winning comedian and playwright Lewis Black, three-time Tony nominees Sherie Rene Scott and Marin Mazzie, and Drama Desk nominee Jason Danieley, with back-by-popular-demand performances from Ebersole and Rudetsky.
