Beyoncé, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz Among Cast of Ryan Murphy-Directed Movie Musical "One Hit Wonders"

Grammy Award winner Beyoncé, who starred in the 2006 film "Dreamgirls," has signed on to star in a new movie musical that will be directed by "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy, according to Rolling Stone.


The film, "One Hit Wonders," will follow a group of characters who each had a hit song in the '90s and attempt to join forces.

The cast will also include Cameron Diaz, Reese Witherspoon, Andy Samberg and Gwyneth Paltrow, who is also a producer on the film.

Beyoncé, who starred as Deena Jones in the film adaptation of Dreamgirls, was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance. The singer-actress has also been seen in the films "Carmen: A Hip Hopera," "Austin Powers in Goldmember," "The Pink Panther" and "Obsessed," among others. As previously reported, the Grammy winner is also attached to play the role of Esther Blodgett in the Clint Eastwood remake of "A Star is Born."
