Billy Elliot, A Catered Affair, Farragut North and reasons to be pretty were among The Associated Press' picks for "Top 10 Listing of the Best Productions in 2008."
Drama critic Michael Kuchwara lamented the lack of a August: Osage County-like powerhouse drama for this year's Broadway lineup, but praised Off-Broadway for providing a number of worthy contenders. The writer also included a Canadian entry: the Stratford Shakespeare Festival's double-bill of Hughie and Krapp's Last Tape.
