Shaw has been nominated for three Grammy Awards. He and/or his music have been featured in such movies as “Bride Wars," “Soul Men" and “My Blueberry Nights," on the soundtrack for “Sex and the City" and in the TV programs “Dancing with the Stars," “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Brothers and Sisters.”
