The special guest for the evening is singer-actress Merle Dandridge, who is currently playing The Lady of the Lake in the Tony-winning musical Spamalot. Dandridge has also appeared on Broadway in Tarzan, Aida and Jesus Christ Superstar.
Broadway Sessions with Ben D is hosted by actor Ben Cameron, who has appeared on Broadway in Footloose, Aida and Wicked. The evening of music, games and comedy at the midtown club begins at 11 PM.
Therapy is located in Manhattan at 348 West 52nd Street. There is no cover charge for the event; attendees must be 21 years or older.
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
