Broadway Ushers Take the Stage Nov. 4 in Voices From The Aisles
04 Nov 2013
Voices From The Aisles, a cabaret show featuring performances by ushers from Broadway's Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark, is presented at Stage 72 Nov. 4 at 9:30 PM.
"When a patron enters a Broadway theatre, they are greeted by ushers — customer service professionals who may scan a patrons' ticket, hand them a Playbill or show them to their seat. What the patron doesn't know is that they may be passing by the future of Broadway... For one night, this team of ambitious Spidey seaters will take over the stage and present Voices From The Aisles," press notes state. "In keeping with the theme, the spotlight will be shifting in true fashion."
Tickets are $12, and there is a two-drink minimum.
Proceeds from the event, including a raffle, benefit The League of Independent Theater's The LIT Fund, which is designed to financially assist artists creating independent theatre in the five boroughs of New York City.
Featuring the Broadway classics “To Life (L’Chaim!),” “If I Were A Rich Man,” “Sunrise Sunset,” “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” and “Tradition,” Fiddler on the Roof will introduce a new generation to this uplifting celebration that raises its cup to joy! To love! To life!
