Emmy Award winner Bryan Cranston ("Breaking Bad"), who currently stars in the American Repertory Theater production of All The Way, will star in "Trumbo," a new film about the blacklisted screenwriter Dalton Trumbo, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Cranston, whose credits also include "Argo" and "Little Miss Sunshine," portrays Lyndon B. Johnson in Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan's new drama All The Way, which opens Sept. 19 in Cambridge, MA. The production may have a future New York life. Read about the play here.
The Hollywood Reporter states that "Trumbo" will shoot in 2014 and will be Cranston's first project post "Breaking Bad." Jay Roach will direct the film that has a screenply by John McNamara, based on Bruce Cook's 1977 book "Trumbo."
