Calliope Theatre Company Will Host Benefit Concert Feb. 8; Lineup Announced

Calliope Theatre Company will host a benefit concert for its upcoming production of Children of the Future Age Feb. 8 at Judson Church.
The 8:30 PM concert will feature original music from the play performed by composer Nick Lerangis and cast members Will Dagger, Molly McAdoo and Raphael Sacks.
The evening will also boast performances by Lady Rizo; Daniel Zaitchik (Picnic at Hanging Rock; Suprema); Heather Christian; Emily Walton (The Shaggs); Miko & The Musket; NicholasNicholas; Kate Hamilton and The Highwayman; Grace McLean; and Sara Serpa and Andre Matos.
Children of the Future Age, written and directed by Knud Adams, is a one-act play with music. "In an abandoned building," press notes state, "three imaginative runaways compete to usher the second coming of the poet William Blake through vision and songs."
Tickets will be $10 dollars at the door. In addition to free snacks, all drinks at the bar will be $5 (wine and beer only).
