Cast of Broadway's Godspell Sings Stephen Schwartz Tunes at Joe's Pub May 23

The company of the Broadway revival of Stephen Schwartz's Godspell perform the songs of their Tony Award-nominated composer May 23 at Joe's Pub.

The 9:30 PM concert, which benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, features Godspell cast members Uzo Aduba, Corbin Bleu, Nick Blaemire, Hannah Elless, Celisse Henderson, Morgan James, Telly Leung, Lindsay Mendez, George Salazar, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Eric Michael Krop, Corey Mach, Julia Mattison and Wallace Smith.

Attendees can expect to hear songs from Schwartz's Pippin, Wicked, The Baker's Wife, The Magic Show, Working, My Son Pinocchio, Children of Eden, Rags, "Pocahontas," "The Hunchback of Notre Dame," "The Prince of Egypt" and "Enchanted."

Godspell Sings Schwartz is created by musical director Charlie Alterman and producer Jennifer Ashley Tepper.

The entire band from Godspell, including Sean Driscoll, Shannon Ford, Matt Hinkley and Steve Millhouse, will accompany the performers; the evening also features musical direction and arrangements by Alterman. Tepper produces.

Joe's Pub is located at 425 Lafayette Street. Tickets are priced $30, $50 (includes priority seating) and $100 (includes priority seating and a poster autographed by the cast). There is a $12 food/drink minimum. For tickets visit
