The National Theatre's transfer to its original home the Apollo was dramatically curtailed Dec. 19, 2013, when the ceiling of the theatre partially collapsed.
The Gielgud cast includes Graham Butler as Christopher. Other theatre credits include Henry V at Shakespeare’s Globe, The White Guard for the National Theatre and Journey’s End at the Duke of York’s Theatre and on the U.K. tour.
An encore screening of the National Theatre Live broadcast of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, filmed during the play’s original run in the Cottesloe Theatre, will be shown in cinemas across the U.K. and internationally May 22, with further screenings in following weeks.
