The Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative was established to "provide a safety net for women in the entertainment industry who are coping with critical health concerns. The Women's Health Initiative dedicates a range of resources solely to addressing the health needs and concerns specific to women, including breast, cervical and ovarian cancers, plus domestic violence, chemical dependency and mental health issues, as well as providing services and financial assistance to women without health insurance.”
Laurie Beechman Theatre is located on 42nd Street and 9th Ave. below the West Bank Cafe. Tickets are $18 at the door with a $15 food/beverage minimum. To make reservations, visit www.westbankcafe.com or call (212) 695-6909.
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
