Claybourne Elder, Alexander Sage Oyen, Zack Zadek Will Join George Salazar, Julia Mattison for Uncool: The Party
12 Nov 2013
Claybourne Elder, who starred in Broadway's Bonnie & Clyde, and songwriters Alexander Sage Oyen and Zack Zadek have joined the lineup for Uncool: The Party, featuring the music of theatrical songwriter Sam Salmond, which will be held Nov. 14 and 16 at CAP21.
Produced and directed by Ashley Rodbro with music direction by Salomon Lerner, the 8 PM concerts will feature George Salazar and Julia Mattison — who were both seen in the Broadway revival of Godspell — as well as Lauren Marcus (Pregnancy Pact) and Seth Eliser, among others.
Elder will perform at the Nov. 16 concert, and Oyen and Zadek will appear at the Nov. 14 concert.
The band will feature David Ciquegrana, Ben Meadors and Dan Berkery.
Here's how the evening is billed: "Come party with some of Broadway's best as we celebrate all the hilarious things that make us the weirdos we pretend so desperately not to be! Join us for an immersive night of new rock 'n roll theatre tunes, games, stories and an OPEN BAR! Uncool: the Party promises to be a night you won't forget... unless you really utilize that open bar."
CAP21 is located at 18 W. 18th Street (between 5th and 6th Avenue) on the 6th floor. Tickets are $25 and include an open bar. For more information and tickets, click here.
