Singer-songwriter Daniel Zaitchik and Tony Award-winning actor-musician John Gallagher, Jr. will offer an evening of new music Feb. 10 at the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles.
Zaitchik, who penned the musicals Suprema and Picnic at Hanging Rock, is the front man of the Blue Bottle Collection. The evening also features Spring Awakening, American Idiot and "Newsroom" star Gallagher, Jr., as well as Fay Wolf and Rachel Cantu.
Wolf's work has been featured on "Grey's Anatomy" and the "Vampire Diaires," while Cantu, who toured with BB King, has had her music featured on "Pretty Little Liars" and "Royal Pains."
The intimate, acoustic concert will feature new music penned by the four singer-songwriters. Show time is 7:30 PM.
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
