David Schmittou, Jennifer Hope Wills, Beth McVey Cast in Riverside Theatre's Music Man

Riverside Theatre’s 2011-2012 season will continue with Meredith Willson's Tony-winning The Music Man, which will play the Vero Beach, FL, venue Feb. 23-March 18.
Directed and choreographed by Vince Pesce, the cast will feature David Schmittou as Harold Hill, Jennifer Hope Wills as Marian Paroo, Megan Thomas as Mrs. Paroo, Luke Mannikus as Winthrop Paroo, Tony Lawson as Charlie Cowell, J.B. Adams as Mayor Shinn, Eric Jon Mahlum as Ewart Dunlop, Steve Luker as Oliver Hix, Thesa Loving as Alma Hix, Max Perlman as Jacey Squires, Beth McVey as Eulalie Shinn, Madison Mullahey as Amaryllis and Sandy Rosenberg as Maud Dunlop with James Michael Avance, Netanel Bellaishe, Sarah Blodgett, Garrett Broadwell, Hallie Cercone, Jen Jenkins, Lorinda Lisitza, Jody Madaras, Sean Maddox, Christopher Regan, Richard Rowan, Jessica Shahinian, Caleb Teicher, Jessi Trauth and Laura Volpacchio.
The children’s ensemble comprises Lance Lunceford, Robert Miller III, Mekenzie Moses and Piper Wild.
The Music Man, according to production notes, "follows the plans of fast-talking 'Professor' Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying uniforms and musical instruments for a boys band he vows to lead. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the town librarian, and decides to stay and face the music when the townsfolk get wind of his scheme." Song titles include "Ya Got Trouble,” “Seventy-Six Trombones,” “Goodnight My Someone,” “Gary, Indiana” and “Till There Was You."
The creative team includes musical director Ken Clifton, scenic and lighting designer Allen D. Cornell, sound designer Craig Beyrooti, stage manager Jenny Lang and assistant stage manager CJ LaRouche.
