Debra Monk, Brandon Victor Dixon and Betsy Wolfe will sing the songs of yesteryear at the Upper East Side Barnes and Noble April 11 as part of Stage Door Canteen: Broadway Responds To World War II.

Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization president Ted Chapin will host the 5 PM evening that offers selections from the recent DRG album of the same title. It was inspired by Chapin's Lyrics & Lyricists program at New York's 92nd Street Y last March.

Musical director Andy Einhorn will accompany Tony winner Monk (Curtains, Steel Pier), Dixon (Scottsboro Boys, The Color Purple) and Wolfe (Merrily We Roll Along, Tales of the City).

The performers will also sign copies of the album that features selections by Rodgers and Hammerstein, Irving Berlin, Frank Loesser and Cole Porter, among others.

The Upper East Side Barnes and Noble is located at 86th Street and Lexington Avenue. Visit BN.com.
