Disney "Cinderella" Film Lines Up Helena Bonham Carter, Cate Blanchett and More

Helena Bonham Carter has joined the cast of Disney's live-action film of "Cinderella," directed by five-time Academy Award nominee Kenneth Branagh, which will arrive in theatres in March 2015, according to Deadline.com.
Carter ("Les Misérables," "Sweeney Todd") will portray the fairy godmother, with Cate Blanchett (A Streetcar Named Desire, The Maids) as the wicked stepmother, Lily James ("Downton") in the title role and Richard Madden ("Game of Thrones") as the prince.
"Cinderella" has a screenplay by Aline Brosh McKenna and Chris Weitz.
