The Up Close conversation series will feature two-time Tony winner Lane, moderated by Tony winner Jack O'Brien, Jan. 30 at 7 PM; Tony nominee Groff and Tony winner Michael Mayer Feb. 17 at 7 PM; Tony winner John Patrick Shanley Feb. 25 at 7 PM; Tony winner Brown, moderated by Tony winner Lin-Manuel Miranda, March 10; and Tony winner Murphy April 21 at 7 PM.
The League will introduce the Rough Draft development series, which will give playwrights, directors and actors one day to explore a project before sharing their achievements the same evening. The inaugural project, Rough Draft: Dr. Darling and the Lost Boys of Bushwick, written and directed by Jesse Geiger, will be held Jan. 24 at 7 PM. Presentations will also be held Feb. 28 and March 14 at 7 PM.
The season will also feature classes and workshops, including "Yoga for Artists," "2014 Directors Project Application Workshop," "Beyond Kickstarter: Fundraising for Small Companies" and "Creating Solo Work."
