Ed Harris, a Tony Award nominee for his performance in Precious Sons, has joined the HBO drama pilot "Westworld," according to Deadline.com.

The cast of "Westworld" also includes Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins (Equus), Tony winner Jeffrey Wright (Angels in America: Perestroika), Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Angela Sarafyan, Simon Quarterman, Eddie Rouse, Demetrius Grosse, Kyle Bornheimer, Currie Graham, Lena Georgas, Steven Ogg and Timothy Lee DePriest.

The project — from J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot, "Person Of Interest" creator Jonathan Nolan, writer Lisa Joy, producer Jerry Weintraub and Warner Bros. TV — is inspired by Michael Crichton's 1973 sci-fi movie of the same name set at an amusement park.

Harris has also been seen on Broadway in Taking Sides.
