Erin Sullivan Unloads Her "Theatrical Baggage" Guide to National Touring Aug. 18

Actress Erin Sullivan will host a release party for her new book "THEATRICAL BAGGAGE: A Manual, a Workbook, and a Bible on how to survive a national tour and other gigs" Aug. 18 at 8 PM at Hurley's Saloon (232 W. 48th Street).
Sullivan has performed on six non-union touring contracts and will present this book as a manual for soon-to-be touring actors, "to get you ready for the road."
According to her website, Sullivan, "guides you on your preparation to embark on this journey. In a witty, comical, and light-hearted manner, Ms. Sullivan packs in tips and advice from firsthand experience from 6 national tour contracts and favorite regional gigs. Along with seasoned tour vet pals, Erin shares the ups and downs, the rights and wrongs, the good times and bad times, and the pros and cons of this tricky lifestyle, while digging deep and exposing quite a bit of her personal life."
Sullivan is an actress, singer and dancer, most recognized for her performance as Amber Von Tussle in the national and international tour of Hairspray. Other national tours include The Wedding Singer, Grease, and Shrek. With over a hundred regional and international credits, Erin also stands out in her portrayal of Elle Woods in multiple productions of Legally Blonde.
