Evan, Russo, Zolli, Osnes and Wilson Set for Rock Tenor Showcase Jan. 11

A showcase of a new concert experience that melds classical and Broadway music with rock-n-roll songs will be presented Jan. 11 at the Florence Gould Hall in Manhattan.
Conceived by Jekyll & Hyde's Rob Evan and co-created with director Vincent Marini, the 7 PM evening will feature the talents of Evan as well as Patti Russo (MeatLoaf), Danny Zolli (Jesus Christ Superstar), Laura Osnes (Grease) and Tad Wilson (Rock of Ages).
Concertgoers can expect songs by The Beatles, U2, Journey, Daughtry, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Police and Queen fused with the sounds of Bach, Beethoven, Puccini, Handel, Bernstein, Webber, Rodgers and Sondheim.
Presented by Blue Eyed Theatrical, the evening will also include the premiere of another new concert, Classic M: The Music of Motown, USA.
