Evita's Ricky Martin Will Become a Judge on "The Voice"

Ricky Martin, who will conclude his run in the Broadway revival of Evita Jan. 26, 2013, has found his next gig.
The celebrated singer, according to Deadline.com, will become a judge on the Australian version of the singing competition "The Voice."
Martin replaces coach Keith Urban, who departed the program to become a judge on Fox-TV's "American Idol."
Martin, who was also seen on Broadway during the original run of Les Miserables, will join returning "Voice" judges Seal, Joel Madden and Delta Goodrem. A launch date for the new season of the Australian "The Voice" has yet to be announced.
The Tony-nominated revival of Evita continues at the Marquis Theatre.
