Carman Napier (Next to Normal) will star in the title role with Dale Sampson as Che and Jonathan Mesisca as Juan Peron.

The musical, according to press notes, "tells the life story of Eva Duarte de Peron and her controversial rise from actress to spiritual leader of the nation" of Argentina. Elaine Paige created the role in London, winning an Olivier Award; Patti LuPone received the Tony for her work in the original Broadway staging.
